Your BlinkMetrics account

If you create an account, BlinkMetrics stores your email address, a protected version of your password, the dates needed to manage your free trial, and the websites you save to your account. Your actual password is not stored in readable form.

BlinkMetrics also uses a secure sign-in cookie so you can stay signed in. Sign-in sessions expire and can be ended by signing out.

Website information

You can save public website addresses to BlinkMetrics and ask it to check them. Public checks may read pages, links and other information that is already available on the open web.

Private visitor or Google Search information is kept separate from public website research. BlinkMetrics does not give another account access to the private owner workspace.

Connected Google services

If you choose to connect a supported Google service, BlinkMetrics may access the information you authorise for the feature you asked to use. This can include search-demand information, connected-account details and, where a private website connection is available, website traffic or Google Search information.

Google information is used to provide BlinkMetrics features. It is not sold, used for advertising to you, or used to build unrelated profiles.

Google user data

BlinkMetrics' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Using reports with ChatGPT

The “Copy for ChatGPT” button copies a report to your clipboard. BlinkMetrics does not automatically send that report or your account data to ChatGPT. If you paste a report into ChatGPT or another service, that service's own privacy terms apply.

Who processes the information

BlinkMetrics uses hosting, database and data providers where they are needed to run the service or produce a report. They process information only as part of providing those services. BlinkMetrics does not sell personal information.

Storage and deletion

Account details, saved websites and sign-in records may be stored while your account is in use. Some report history or preferences may also be stored in your browser on the device you are using.

You can sign out, disconnect supported Google access, and clear browser-stored data where applicable. To request deletion of information held with your BlinkMetrics account, use the contact details published on Blinkclicks.com.

Security

BlinkMetrics uses measures such as protected password storage, secure sign-in cookies and server-side access checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies are used for sign-in and security. Browser storage may be used for saved preferences, report history and temporary working data. Non-essential analytics or similar technologies should only be used in line with the consent choices shown on the site.

Your choices

You can choose which public websites to save, whether to connect supported Google services, whether to copy a report elsewhere, and whether to continue using BlinkMetrics.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as BlinkMetrics changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
